When the new girl needs a plus one to shock her parents, she asks the guy in the spotlight. But her acting skills are called into play when she starts falling for him.

Tess is the new girl at Oak Grove High. Everything about her—black hair, thick eyeliner, dismissive attitude—is new since escaping her parents’ controlling clutches to come live with her aunt.
